Introducing NAITS
A new Tokyo community for people who like understanding difficult systems, questioning assumptions, and building in the open.
NAITS（ナイツ）is a Tokyo community for people working across cybersecurity, AI, AI safety, and technology.
We are creating a place where researchers, breakers, builders, defenders, engineers, and curious people can exchange ideas without posturing. The goal is straightforward: gather around difficult technical problems, challenge assumptions, and turn good conversations into things other people can learn from or build on.
A late-night technical guild
The community is inspired by the atmosphere of a thoughtful guild hall after dark. Someone might present an exploit, another person might question an AI evaluation, and a few people may leave with the beginning of an open-source project.
We care more about interesting questions and careful work than credentials. We want disagreement to be rigorous and relationships to remain generous.
What comes next
We are preparing our first gatherings in Tokyo, along with a Discord community and Luma calendar. Updates will appear here as those spaces open.
